The Tour de Tufnell Park highlights the need for a Safe Cycle Route


The Tour De France Champions

On March 9th,  David Lincoln,  Dad and local resident organised the successful Tour De Tufnell Park.  Kids, parents, politicians and ICAG members followed the proposed safe cycle route around the six schools.  It was covered in the Islington Tribune and the Islington Gazette.

In the video interviews above, recorded after the ride, articulate students from Tufnell Park and Yerbury Primary school explain what they don’t cycle to school every day and why some of their friends don’t cycle to school at all and what needs to be done about it.
