As it’s our 50th birthday year in 2026, we have been focussing on some special events to celebrate this – including a family ‘bike the borough boundary’ ride – all details here.
But we’re also planning some other rides and outreach events as follows:
- Summer solstice ride to Richmond; date tbc but it’ll be on either Wednesday 17 or 24 June.
- LCC Women’s Network ride on Sunday 5 July when we will be running a feeder ride to join the main Women’s Freedom ride; more details to come.
- Wray Crescent Festival on Saturday 25 July from 1200 to 1700. This will be at Wray Crescent Open Space, N4.
- Our annual blackberry ride; date tbc in August but we’ll aim to organise it when there are still some blackberries on the bushes !
- London Cycling Festival ride on Sunday 20 September; we’re working with the LCC, neighbouring boroughs and the Council on some fun events and, of course, a ride; more details to come
Other potential rides will include an adults’ evening ride with pub visit in the autumn; previous similar rides have included a riverside route to Battersea and another riverside trip this time using the Woolwich ferry.
