Here’s what we are up to over the next few weeks and months:
Saturday 22 April – join our feeder ride to The Big One – a mass cycle ride jointly organised by XR and many other campaigners to focus on the progress made by the councils which signed up for the LCC’s Climate Safe Streets pledge during last year’s local elections. EventBrite here.
Sunday 30 April – Bikers’ breakfast at junction of Highbury Fields and Highbury Crescent from 0930. Come and say hello to the CI team, find out about what’s on offer and help us identify any quick wins on our map of the borough.
Friday 5 May – Escape the coronation evening cycle jaunt up the Lea valley with a couple of pub stops. EventBrite here.
Wednesday 10 May – our AGM starts at 1930 followed by our guest speaker, Anna Hughes who is a climate campaigner and cyclist. Anna will be talking about her cycling adventures particularly taking her bike on trains. EventBrite here
Sunday 28 May – join our feeder ride to Ride London, the one day out of 365 when we can cycle safely all over central London. EventBrite will follow shortly.
We will also be organising a summer picnic ride, a family ride and some evening rides with pub stops – dates to come.
