While the 2026 solstice is on 21 June, tradition has it that cyclists from all over London get together in Richmond on the nearest Wednesday to watch the sun go down, have a picnic and a beer or two.
Following our successful rides in previous years, Steve is leading this year’s ride on Wednesday 24 June, setting off from the Town Hall at 1800.
It’s great fun, a nice long but not too stressful ride and a particularly good opportunity to cycle through Richmond Park WITHOUT cars but WITH curious deer.
