Join hundreds of women and allies on a fun protest ride around iconic locations in Central London. On the Sunday before International Women’s Day, the LCC Women’s Network is calling on the Mayor for gender equality in cycling in London, where less than a third of bike trips are by women.
This will be a family-friendly led ride with plenty of marshals to keep everyone safe, going at a gentle pace for around 5 miles.
Cycle Islington has organised a feeder ride to help people reach the start point safely – this will set off from Highbury Fields to the start at Lincoln’s Inn Fields.
